  • Vision: The desired, ideal outcome towards which the organization is working
  • Values: The guiding principles that determine how the group works together, how they expect to treat each other, and be treated by others
  • Mission: A statement that clearly expresses the purpose of the organization

Project Coordinator – First Nations Flood Management Secretariat

Full-time Contract to March 31, 2020. Likely extension subject to funding.

First Nations and First Nation organizations in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley have been working toward addressing flood management in their respective territories. Initially operating under the umbrella of the Lower Fraser Fisheries Alliance, the First Nation Flood Management Secretariat will ultimately be an independent organization to support the development of regional First Nations emergency planning and preparedness for flood management throughout the Lower Mainland.

RELAW Coordinator

Full Time Term Position, until March 31, 2019.

The Lower Fraser Fisheries Alliance is currently hiring a RELAW Coordinator to assist in the process of accessing, articulating and applying Indigenous laws through West Coast Environmental Law’s Revitalizing Indigenous Law for Land, Air, and Water (RELAW) project.
